1 Overview & Commitment

This Privacy Policy applies to the EPK Keyboard mobile application (referred to as “the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy governs how information is handled when you download, install, and use our keyboard application.

Our core philosophy is simple: a keyboard should act solely as an input tool for your device. We do not build user profiles, track your activities across apps, or sell user data.

2 Information We Collect & Process

A. Typed Text & Input Data (Zero Collection):

• We do NOT collect or transmit any text you type using EPK Keyboard.
• Passwords, credit card numbers, personal messages, and search queries are never accessible by us or sent to external servers.
• All auto-correction, word predictions, and custom dictionary learning occur locally on your device.

B. Diagnostics & Usage Data:

EPK Keyboard operates completely offline with respect to telemetry. We do NOT use third-party analytics trackers, behavioral profiling, or background tracking services.

3 Device Permissions Requested

To provide specific keyboard capabilities, EPK Keyboard may request the following device permissions:

• Microphone Permission (Voice Input / Speech-to-Text): Used exclusively when you tap the microphone button on the keyboard to convert your spoken words into text. Audio streams are processed using your Android system’s native voice recognition service and are never recorded or stored by EPK Keyboard.

You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device’s Settings > Apps > EPK Keyboard > Permissions.

4 Third-Party Services & Advertisements

EPK Keyboard is a privacy-focused tool that does NOT integrate third-party ad networks, tracking SDKs, or external analytics frameworks (e.g., Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, etc.).

Because no third-party libraries are present in the app, no device IDs, IP addresses, or location data are shared with third parties.

5 Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)

EPK Keyboard does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). Our application is compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6 Data Retention & User Deletion Rights

Since we do not store any personal data or typing history on cloud servers, there is no remote user data to request deletion of. Any local data (such as learned custom dictionary words) can be erased instantly by clearing the app data in your device settings or uninstalling the app.

7 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in functionality or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date”. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
